SCOPE

This Payment Policy governs all payment transactions made through www.ardenwood.co.uk and applies to all customers placing orders on the Website.

This Policy forms part of our Terms and Conditions of Use. By placing an order, you confirm that you have read and accept the terms of this Policy.

ACCEPTED PAYMENT METHODS

We accept the following payment methods:

Payment must be made in full at the time of placing your order. We do not offer payment on account, invoice, or deferred payment arrangements.

ACCEPTED CURRENCIES

All prices on the Website are displayed and charged in Pounds Sterling (GBP), which is the primary and sole transaction currency.

Customers whose payment card or digital wallet is denominated in a currency other than GBP will have their transaction converted to GBP at the exchange rate applied by their payment card issuer or digital wallet provider at the time of settlement. Ardenwood has no control over, and accepts no responsibility for, any currency conversion charges, fees, or exchange rate fluctuations applied by your payment provider.

PAYMENT PROCESSING AND SECURITY

All payments are processed by Shopify Payments, a third-party payment processing service operated by Shopify Inc.

Shopify Payments processes all transactions in compliance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS), ensuring that your payment information is encrypted and securely handled throughout the transaction.

Ardenwood does not receive, store, or access your full payment card number, card expiry date, or card verification value (CVV). All sensitive payment data is handled exclusively by Shopify Payments.

By completing a purchase, you acknowledge that your payment is subject to Shopify Payments' applicable terms of service, available at www.shopify.com/legal/terms.

INSTALMENT PAYMENTS

Ardenwood does not directly offer a proprietary instalment payment facility or interest-free credit arrangement.

Instalment options, including Buy Now Pay Later services, may be available through your individual payment card issuer or, where eligible, through Shop Pay Instalments offered by Shopify. Any such arrangements are governed exclusively by the terms, conditions, and interest rates of the relevant third-party provider and are entirely independent of Ardenwood.

Ardenwood accepts no responsibility for the terms, fees, interest charges, or credit assessments applied by third-party instalment providers.

RECURRING BILLING AND SUBSCRIPTIONS

Ardenwood does not currently offer subscription services or recurring billing arrangements. All purchases made on the Website are individual, one-time transactions.

FAILED OR DECLINED PAYMENTS

If your payment is declined at checkout, your order will not be processed and no charge will be applied to your account.

In the event of a payment failure, we recommend that you:

PRICING AND VALUE ADDED TAX

All prices displayed on the Website are inclusive of United Kingdom Value Added Tax (VAT) where applicable, in accordance with the Value Added Tax Act 1994 and HMRC guidance governing the supply of goods to UK consumers by overseas sellers.

We reserve the right to amend prices at any time without prior notice. Price changes will not apply to orders for which an Order Confirmation has already been issued.

In the event of a pricing error on the Website, we will notify you as soon as reasonably practicable and provide you with the option to proceed at the corrected price or to cancel your order for a full refund.

PROOF OF PURCHASE

Upon successful completion of a purchase, you will receive an Order Confirmation email to the email address registered on your Account. This email constitutes your proof of purchase.
